Commercial Assets Manager
Covering South England
Salary up to £65,000 per annum plus a Company Car or Car Allowance
35 hours per week
We have an opportunity for an Commercial Assets Manager to join our Property team in Central and West Engand Covering Worcestershire, West Midlands, South West), Cornwall and the South East (London, Westminster, East and Home Counties). In this role you will define, commission and deliver investment programmes across the Group’s property portfolio and provide a business partnering role to the business across all property matters.
The role of Commercial Assets Manager will include:
* Manage the identification and delivery of targeted, value for money asset investment plans for the Group's Commercial stock
* Deliver investment and cyclical programmes to the Group's Commercial stock within agreed budgets through effective financial management to achieve timely completion of projects
* Manage the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
* Encourage client involvement and feedback to ensure capital and revenue projects are accessible and responsive to customers needs
* Provide a business partnering role to staff across the commercial business, supporting on all Property related matters including repairs, maintenance and compliance, alongside investment activity
* Ensure routine stock condition surveys, inspections for complaints and legal notices are undertaken in a timely manner on targeted stock
* Ensure quality data regarding commercial property assets is robust and well maintained in order that it provides meaningful data when undertaking strategic property portfolio reviews and to inform investment programmes
Skills and experiences:
* Building related degree, relevant professional qualification
* Qualified to RICS Associate status or similar
* Recent experience in undertaking a similar role
* Experience of Technical Report and Committee Report writing
* Robust knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practice
* Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills
* Ability to present recommendations based on analysis, logic and evidence
* Experience of using stock condition software systems
* Working knowledge of the construction and housing industries
* Experience in using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (or similar)
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
