We are recruiting a Quality Engineer who will work within the quality team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with the aim of making sure that final products are safe, reliable and meet customer expectations while keeping the manufacturing process as effective and cost efficient as possible. This is a great development opportunity as a Quality Engineer to support the wider team in all aspects of quality activities and assist capacity expansion. This will include supporting the planning and execution of improvement programmes within the value stream through to satisfactory conclusion. As Quality Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities. Customer Complaints Internal & Supplier Rejects Supporting Supplier Approvals Documentation (Procedures) Internal Auditing to 9001:2015 and customer specific requirements Support of Production Inspection & Approvals Support customer factory acceptance testing as well as third party visits and approvals The successful candidate will have a degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Quality. You will have a background in manufacturing in a quality role. You will have a good understanding of ISO9001:2015 quality techniques and tools, such as 5Whys, FMEA and fishbone, and lean manufacturing techniques. You will also have good organisational, interpersonal and IT skills with a strong customer focus. Persistence and decisiveness along with being process driven and results orientated are needed in this role.
