This role is available as a B6 post or a B6 development post.

If you are applying as a development post it will commence on a B6 Annex U. Therefore you will be paid 70% of entry point on a B6 & when competencies achieved you will move to entry point on B6 scale.
This post is based in both community setting & acute settings cross county and you will be working in conjunction with the foot protection team with access to the MDT, MSK team and also hold a domiciliary caseload. Your work will be focused on undertaking podiatry assessments, contributing to treatment planning and clinical treatments following evidence based clinical pathways in the foot and ankle pathways.
The post holder will also be required to attend meetings or training across East Sussex therefore being a car driver / owner is essential for this post.
You will be part of a friendly, supportive, professional team, and will be fully supported to develop your professional skills and areas of special clinical interest.. You will be actively involved with student placements.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide seamless delivery of care from the community to the acute setting.
As a Band 6 you will be required to work in conjunction with the Foot Protection team, MSK team and also hold a domiciliary caseload. As a podiatrist you will be undertaking podiatry assessments and contributing to treatment planning, striving towards providing a gold standard of care. Your work will be focused on providing clinical treatments following evidence based clinical pathways in the foot and ankle pathways. Your work will involve working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team alongside orthopaedic and vascular surgeons, endocrinologists, microbiology and orthotics which includes liaising with GPs, tissue viability, district and practice nurses.
There will also be opportunities to train other healthcare professionals and you will be actively involved with student placements as well as delivering educational and screening programmes for patient with an at risk foot.
Within this role you will be responsible for delivering aHigh quality; accessible, timely treatment plans for patients following evidence based clinical pathwaysfor patients, in MSK foot and ankle conditions.
