Hardware Design Engineer Responsibilities:
* To develop all aspects of electronic/electrical design solutions for new and legacy products to corporate and international standards.
* The ownership of electronic/electrical designs throughout the product life cycle.
* Produce detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions.
* Examination of designs using component level DFMEA process.
* Assess the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process.
Minimum Qualifications:
* HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to electronic engineering.
Hardware Design Engineer Requirements:
* Previous experience with Printed Circuit Board CAD design suites.
* The design of electronic circuits to the appropriate IPC standards.
* The design of electronic systems for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
* The implementation of component de-rating in the interest of reliability.
