We're looking for a creative person who loves connecting people and places by telling their stories. You'll play an important role in helping everyone to feel welcome by planning and delivering visitor driving and audience-led programming. What it's like to work here Belton is a large property welcoming over 460,000 visitors a year. You'll join the Visitor Operations team, working together to create an amazing offer for visitors throughout the year. Reporting to the Senior Programming & Partnerships Officer, the team consists of the Welcome Manager, Fundraising Officer, Senior Volunteering & Community Officer & Senior Marketing & Communications Officer. In this fast-paced role you'll make sure to involve all departments across property in delivering our programming offer and ensuring it is to the highest standard. Click here for more information about this location What you'll be doing Together with your team, you'll be fundamental in the delivery of our programming offer, co-ordinating and running events/ programmes which attracts a wide reaching audience. You'll support the work at Grantham House, a property we have recently acquired and will be reopening as a community hub. You'll be focussed on building local partnerships with community groups, and you'll lead on activities that are being run by these partner organisations. As well as planning and organising a programme of events and exhibitions to run in all the places covered by your role, you'll be linking these events to the places themselves to make sure they're both relevant and appealing to people. You'll be responsible for some budgets and will be supervising volunteers.
