The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a fantastic company based in Stockport. They are a leading global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food processing and air transportation industries and are looking for an Assembly technician to join their team.
Main Duties And Responsibilities Of An Assembly Technician
Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
Ensure machinery is fully PDId and tested prior to delivery.
Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard-working
High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
On-site commissioning and customer training.
Experience/knowledge Requirements For An Assembly Technician
Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of equipment
General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
