Insurance Broker
A leading provider of commercial insurance solutions is looking for an Insurance Broker to join their team in Cardiff. Do you have a passion for delivering tailored insurance solutions and building strong client relationships? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic company in the commercial insurance sector.
As a Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, advising on a range of insurance products, and ensuring businesses have the right coverage to protect their assets. You will work with warm leads and renewals, negotiate with insurers, and provide expert risk management advice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle new business enquiries and policy renewals, working towards sales targets.
* Advise clients on commercial insurance products, tailoring coverage to their needs.
* Develop and maintain strong client and introducer relationships.
* Research and compare insurance policies from a panel of approved insurers.
* Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with underwriters.
* Assess risk exposure and provide clients with expert risk management guidance.
* Support clients through the claims process, ensuring a smooth resolution.
* Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and keep accurate policy records.
About You:
* Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, Account Executive, or Telephone based Customer Service advisor.
* Knowledge of commercial insurance products and the UK insurance market. (Desirable)
* Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to assess complex risk profiles and recommend tailored solutions.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Experience using insurance brokerage software and Microsoft Office. (Desirable)
* Industry qualifications such as CII (or working towards) are desirable
