Are you a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners? GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Harlow in September 2024. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across both primary and secondary schools, helping students excel in Science and related subjects. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, creating syllabuses in line with the curriculum, and supporting students with their studies, including those with SEND needs, in both one-to-one and small group settings.
Responsibilities of Science Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality Science lessons across primary and secondary key stages.
* Develop and implement a curriculum-aligned Science syllabus.
* Prepare lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students, including those with special needs.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to enhance their understanding of Science.
* Assess and monitor students' progress, offering constructive feedback to encourage their academic growth.
* Collaborate with other educators and school staff to create a positive learning environment.
* Engage and inspire students to develop a love for Science and related subjects.
Science Teacher Job Requirements:
* QTS or relevant degrees PGCE, NQT or ECT qualifications are mandatory.
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and experience in teaching Science to various key stages.
* Experience in working as a Science Teacher is desirable.
* Experience working with students with SEND needs is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
