Role
This role will involve maintaining the Club's external and internal communications. Develop and execute engaging media content tailored to our target audience across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
Reporting to the Head of Membership, Events and Communications, you will be working closely with all departments on the promotion of Club and Member events and activities. Therefore, you will be required to work normal office hours and occasionally evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Responsibilities And Duties
1. Create consistent, strong, and on-brand messaging to increase brand exposure within the membership community and externally.
2. Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth. Analyze social media metrics and performance data to measure the success of campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to improve future strategies. Address negative feedback or issues on social media in a professional and timely manner, ensuring the brand's reputation is upheld. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and public relations, to align social media efforts with overall business objectives. Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as needed to support management initiatives. Support the planning and execution of events, ensuring all details are managed effectively and with timely and professional responses.
3. Produce, manage, and distribute all marketing and newsletters to Members and staff.
4. Work closely with the events department to develop and promote all club activities including interest groups.
5. Work closely with Chef to update and typeset menus regularly.
6. Monitor online presence, driving engagement and interaction across social media with responses to reinforce positivity around the brand and grow confidence.
7. Maintain & update website content and imagery with support from the website host.
8. Assist with the management of multiple external providers including graphic designers, publishers, photographers, and web developers to deliver on-brand material.
9. Support other areas of the business with marketing and communications including Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Fitness Centre, Membership, and Human Resources.
10. Discover, capture, and share the Club’s best stories to showcase the Club culture.
11. Engage with customers on all platforms.
Requirements Of Communications & Brand Administrator
1. Proven experience in a similar role and knowledge of social media.
2. Experience with digital platforms, content creation, and brand management.
3. You should be creative and innovative in your ideas and thinking, have first-class communication skills, and an aptitude for proofreading – attention to detail is key.
4. You should enjoy working as part of the wider Club team to organise, coordinate, and execute Club events and assist where necessary.
5. The role is very hands-on, so a can-do and proactive approach is essential.
