Clifton High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual to teach Physical Education and Sport at one of the top independent schools in Bristol. The role will teach Core Physical Education from Reception-Y11, along with possible opportunities to develop and teach GCSE & A-level Courses. Candidates should also have experience of and or be able to coach in at least two of the School’s main sports as well as taking teams to fixtures mid-week and on a Saturday. The successful candidate will be keen to be fully involved within the department and across the wider scope of a busy school, including active participation in the extensive extra-curricular programme and should look to engage with the wider Clifton High School community.
It would be of benefit for the post holder to have played or coached to a good standard in any sport and a specific interest in Cricket and Hockey would be an advantage. The role would be suited to an ECT as well as an experienced teacher and there will be support available for the right candidate.
