About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory strategy and compliance for our current and future product lines across the UK, EU, and international markets. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead global compliance initiatives, guide product development from a regulatory standpoint, and shape the direction of our compliance operations.
What You’ll Do
* Lead all regulatory aspects of both new product development and existing product maintenance, covering cosmetics, home fragrances, and consumer commodities.
* Provide expert regulatory advice during formulation and sourcing stages to ensure compliance across all markets.
* Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on business strategy and product compliance.
* Maintain and enhance internal regulatory procedures, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
* Manage global product registration, notification, and certification requirements.
* Oversee labelling and packaging compliance in line with UK, EU, and international regulations, including final artwork approvals.
* Partner with regulatory bodies, trade associations, and technical authorities to maintain certifications and respond to inquiries.
* Support logistics and operations teams with shipping regulations and required documentation.
* Lead and mentor a team of three direct reports, ensuring a high-performance regulatory team.
What You’ll Bring
* A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of regulatory experience within the cosmetics or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of UK, EU, and international cosmetic and consumer product regulations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring a team.
* High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
