Finance Assistant
Location: East Kilbride
Permanent, full-time onsite – flexible working available after probation
Salary up to £30,000 DOE + benefits

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function, working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a thriving and forward-thinking business. Reporting into the Finance Manager and Assistant Management Accountant, your role will cover the following areas:
Key Responsibilities
• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and reconciliation within Xero
• Liaise with team members across the business to ensure accurate supplier invoice approval
• Set up and manage bank payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Handle supply chain invoice processing, including purchase orders, reconciliations, and sales invoices
• Perform bank transfers, weekly payment runs, and cash allocations
• Process expenses and journals, ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries, working closely with internal teams and suppliers
• Support the finance team with ad hoc duties as required
About You
• Experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Payable role within a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, SAP Concur or similar expense processing software
• Minimum of basic Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• A reliable, conscientious, and hard-working approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership over tasks
