Drumchapel Veterinary Surgeon: Full or part time, Salary up to £55k (negotiable DOE), 1 in 3 Saturdays, relocation allowance, Consult-only role also considered.
About us:
We are a small and close-knit team and since opening 9 years ago have built a loyal client base. Many members of our team have been with us a number of years creating a fantastic comradery and an ethos in which we support each other. As well as our practice team we are lucky to have the support of the wider vets4pets network giving access to support for specific clinical interests. This, in addition to having Glasgow vet school just 10 mins away, means we can offer our clients a range of treatment options. Our bright, spacious practice is based in Drumchapel, North-west Glasgow. Being based on a retail park provides excellent access to local amenities and transport links including Glasgow Airport. We are situated just a short commute from Glasgow city while the beautiful southern highlands are also within short travelling distance making this a great location for city dwellers and nature lovers alike.
The Role:
We would love to find an experienced vet who is happy to mentor students and graduates as we like to provide a supportive learning environment to students coming from the vet school. We will also consider recent graduates. This can be a full time or part time position and we are open to a flexible rota that can work around your commitments. We do ask for you to cover 1 in 3 Saturdays, but no OOH cover will be needed as this is covered by Glasgow university. We are currently open Monday to Saturday having reduced this from a full week to help look after our team.
Our offer:
In addition to a salary up to £55k (pro rata) you will receive all the excellent benefits you would expect from a major veterinary employer. This includes but is not limited to:
1. Help with relocation costs
2. Fully funded CPD
3. Paid BVA, VDS and RCVS membership
4. Exclusive company discounts including at least 20% off across the Pets at Home group
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a friendly established team in which you can develop and progress your clinical interests. To apply or to find out more please contact Rach at northvet@vets4pets.com

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
