I have partnered with a Manchester Propco to find a Facilities & Maintenance leader looking to step into a high-profile role. We’re searching for a Head of Facilities & Maintenance to take charge of an expanding portfolio in Manchester city centre, managing both owned and third-party assets across residential and commercial properties.
The Role
As Head of Facilities & Maintenance, you’ll lead a dedicated team overseeing the upkeep of an evenly split residential and commercial portfolio across 23 estates, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency.
With this company’s recent track record of strategic acquisitions and rapid portfolio growth, you’ll play a key role in shaping and optimising the facilities function to support their continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all facilities, maintenance, and compliance across the portfolio.
* Lead and develop the team, ensuring smooth operations across all sites.
* Implement and refine processes to drive efficiency and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and tenants.
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.
* Work closely with senior leadership to align facilities strategy with business growth.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in facilities & maintenance management, ideally within residential or offices, if not both.
* Strong leadership skills with a background in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
* Knowledge of building compliance, health & safety, and property regulations.
* A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational management.
* Experience in a fast-moving, growth-focused property environment is highly desirable.
