Job summary 6 month fixed term contract or secondment - MSK outpatients We are looking for a band 6 physiotherapist to join our musculoskeletal outpatients team at Lincoln. You will get the opportunity to assess and treat generalised MSK conditions including consultant, GP and staff referrals. In addition you will work with a variety of post-operative conditions, hand surgery patients and lead rehabilitation classes. Our team is highly focussed on supporting your development and we work hard to ensure you receive 1:1 supervision, regular training/peer review/journal clubs and access to advice and support from our MSK team leads and our MSK clinical specialist physiotherapists. All physiotherapists benefit from protected CPD time, and there is also the opportunity to apply for external courses and training. Main duties of the job To provide a high standard of Physiotherapy in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient service. To include classes and clinics as each area requires. To perform more advanced and detailed assessments with patients presenting with more diverse and complex conditions, providing a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised specialist treatment programme. To hold own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
