Title – Duty Security Manager
Pay Rate – Varying from £16.00 to £17.00 per hour
Location – London
Shift Timings – 4 on 4 off, Days Rolling Roster

Your main responsibilities may include:
To train other members of the team so they are fully conversant in their roles, to hold daily SCR team briefings at commencement of the shift and briefings with the gallery-based officers in the morning and a thorough debrief in the evening.
Effectively oversee all SCR activity and related tasks, in-line with SOPs and current legislation.
To manage the break rota system on site and ensure that all staff have sufficient breaks, to step in and assist where needed.
Manage the Security Control Room operation,
this includes
email account inbox, CCTV and telephones at all times, responding promptly and appropriately to requests and duties.
All emails should be acknowledged.
Responsible for achieving and maintaining the client specification as set out in the site Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
Have direct responsibility for Security Shift leaders, SCR staff and Visitor Welcome Officers.
To report in to the Security Operations Manager by 10:00am daily.
To have a thorough knowledge of routine and emergency procedures and be able to respond efficiently and appropriately to any eventuality
To ensure site Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and Standard Operating procedures are briefed out and signed by all security staff onsite, inclusive of the DSM’s.
To support the security department with administrative duties as directed by the Security Operations Manager, to delegate these where reasonable and practical.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
SIA License – Door Supervisor & CCTV
5-year checkable work/career history.
Must be capable of managing and motivating a team, to ensure the highest standard of service delivery, whilst continuing to strive for continuous improvement.
Must obtain and maintain Known Consignor clearance and training with the CAA.
Flexibility is essential is to the role, with regards to workload and hours.
Able to communicate effectively across all levels of business.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate information and present analysis in a clear, concise and effective manner.
Must have a knowledge of HR procedures and processes, the ability to lead investigations into disciplinary issues.
