Your opportunity:
You will join a small Creative Arts Team who are friendly, supportive, hardworking and passionate about their subjects. This is part of a larger team within the Arts Faculty working alongside Drama, Music, DT and Food Technology.
We are supported by an Arts and Technology Technician who works closely with teachers to ensure the best possible experience for our students. We have 2 new Art rooms, one of which has a photography studio at the back, both rooms have laptops with Photoshop installed on them, we have a kiln and a darkroom. We run Bronze and Silver Arts award for our KS3 students and we have achieved Artsmark Gold Award which recognises our exceptional commitment to creativity and we are currently in the process of renewing this valuable recognition for our community.
As an inspirational teacher who embraces creativity and innovation, you will contribute to the design of the curriculum to ensure it is an exciting, relevant, challenging and personalised curriculum.
You will deliver high quality lessons at KS3 and KS4, increasing year on year as the school grows. You will have plenty of CPD opportunities for professional development and growth. Working as part of the GLF Trust comprising of 43 schools, we can support you with career pathways for progression.
