About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our prestigious private consultancy in London. This role offers the opportunity to lead on high-profile projects, mentor junior team members, and work closely with clients to deliver outstanding cost management and project consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the delivery of cost consultancy services on multiple projects.
* Develop detailed cost plans, feasibility studies, and value engineering assessments.
* Prepare and manage tender documentation, procurement strategies, and contract administration.
* Conduct risk analysis and advise on mitigation strategies.
* Oversee financial performance, monitor budgets, and control project costs.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and present detailed financial reports to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* MRICS qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.
* Proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects across various sectors.
* Extensive knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage teams and develop client relationships.
* Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CATO, or similar).
* Results-driven with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
