Finance Admin Assistant
Location - Swadlincote
Pay - £12.58
Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Admin Assistant to work temporarily with an immediate start! We are looking for someone with exceptional IT skills and experience in a Finance or Sales Ledger role.
As a Finance Admin Assistant, you will have:
1. A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
2. Professional verbal and written communication skills
3. Flexibility and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
4. A confident, professional phone manner and the ability to answer calls with ease
5. Excellent IT skills
6. The ability to be both proactive and reactive in a timely and professional manner
7. Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently
8. A methodical and organized approach to work
9. Updating administrative systems accordingly
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Convert remittances to Excel for allocation
2. Allocate cash receipts to the receivable ledger daily
3. Raise manual credits
4. Reraising new invoices
5. Create reports and organize data
6. Sort through and process information
7. Log any queries
8. Understand and interpret data
9. Maintain and update information held on a database
10. Schedule and prioritize allocated work on a daily basis
11. Learn the procedures and understand parameters of producing quality output
12. Read, reply to, and follow up on emails
13. Articulate and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients
Essential requirements:
1. Previous experience in Finance or a Sales Ledger role
2. IT skills
