Lynton is a beautiful part of North Devon with stunning landscape and a wonderful community. Although it is 20 miles from Barnstaple (or anywhere else, for that matter!), it does not take as long as you think, an A road takes you all the way there and traffic jams are few and far between!
You could join our close-knit team to provide nursing services in community and clinic, working with the local care home, GP surgery and Domiciliary Care Agency to keep people safe and well cared for in their own homes.

More detail about the role
You will be providing nursing care for palliative and end of life patients, domiciliary and ambulatory wound care, catheters, leg ulcer care and minor injuries. The team are planning developments in preventive frailty work and urgent care response. The role involves autonomous, lone working, using specialist assessment skills to plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care for individual patients. You will work as part of a team, liaising with other professionals such as specialist hospice nurse, social workers, GP, Podiatry and Tissue Viability. We run our own well-leg/leg ulcer service, creating development opportunities for staff in leg ulcer treatment. You will develop skills in structured clinical assessment when treating minor injury patients. Lynton is a holiday area with a large influx of holidaymakers at certain times of the year.
