At PA Housing, we’re on the lookout for a dynamic Head of Health & Safety to drive a proactive, people-first safety culture across our organisation. You’ll be at the forefront of strategy, innovation, and actionleading from the boardroom to the frontline.

What you’ll be doing
* Leading our Health & Safety strategy across the organisation.
* Driving a culture of safety through engagement, communication, and action.
* Conducting risk assessments and fire safety reviews in our communities.
* Acting as the expert advisor to internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Investigating incidents and leading continuous improvement.
* Reviewing and refreshing policies in line with regulations and best practice.
* Tracking and analysing safety performance data to inform decisions.
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
What we’re looking for:
Let’s keep it realwe’re looking for someone who knows their stuff and can inspire others to care about safety too.
* You’ve got a NEBOSH Diploma, are a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH), and ideally hold a relevant degree.
* You’ve spent 5+ years in a senior health & safety role, and you know how to speak the language of boardrooms and boots on the ground.
* Experience in social housing or a similar sector? Big plus. Understanding of M&E and compliance? Even better.
* You’re a confident communicator and influencerpeople listen when you talk.
* Tech-savvy? Familiarity with Academy Housing Management systems is a bonus.

This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions.
So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
