Occupational Hygienist Consultant
We are currently seeking a highly knowledgeable Occupational Hygienist. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to assess and mitigate occupational health hazards in various work environments. With a focus on regulatory compliance and the implementation of exposure controls, you will work closely with clients to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. you will also conduct management systems audits and design training programs to promote worker health and safety. Profile:
As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to building our core competencies across multiple sectors. The main responsibilities of this role include providing guidance on health and safety compliance to colleagues and clients, and potentially offering expert witness services to the court following training.
Onboarding Program:
You will receive training on all aspects of the process, from handling inquiries and conducting client visits to report writing and follow-up procedures. You will have the support of a buddy and a mentor to guide you through this process, ensuring a smooth transition into your role.
Key Requirements:
* Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene and Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene
* Minimum 5 years of industry experience
* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and expertise in applying health and safety legislation across various industries
* Strong ability to use this knowledge effectively in challenging situations
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or as a leader
* Strong ability to attract and develop new clients
* Proficiency in developing new work in specialist areas
* Thorough working knowledge of health and safety law and regulatory guidance
* Support the growth and enhancement of the health and safety capability within
