Description St Margaret’s CEVAP School, Ipswich, Suffolk IP4 2BT £24,404 pro rata Post 1: Key Stage 1 - 28.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.15pm Post 2: Key Stage 2 - 23 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday - Thursday 8.30am – 3.15pm Permanent Reference: 6725 Required as soon as possible We are seeking to recruit two caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support the learning and pastoral care of pupils. You will need to be able to form a positive and consistent relationship with pupils, focussing on creating a calm, secure and consistent working environment. This post will initially involve supporting individual children with Special Educational Needs. A skilful and experienced person is preferred but the right enthusiastic candidate is more essential. You will: have experience of working with pupils across all age groups, including EYFS have the ability to think flexibly and use your own initiative in supporting the learning needs of our pupils be able to follow direction have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour be flexible and committed to working as part of a team have excellent communication, mathematics and English skills have up to date Safeguarding knowledge be passionate about supporting all children within an inclusive classroom environment.
