Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism department at one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in England.
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and skilled individual who is passionate about delivering high quality care within Endocrinology and Diabetes. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting endocrinology and diabetes across its inpatient and outpatient services, including general medicine and on-call.
We are also a regional centre for cancer, bone marrow transplants, trauma, renal dialysis, burns and plastics, HIV and AIDS, as well as respiratory conditions like cystic fibrosis; thoracic surgery and have the largest solid organ transplantation programme in Europe.

Job Responsibilities
The Endocrinology service provides secondary and tertiary care to patients with a wide range of endocrine conditions from the West Midlands and beyond. The department combines provision of a clinical service with an active, world-leading research programme.
The department works in close collaboration with biochemists, endocrine surgeons, geneticists, gynaecologists, neurosurgeons, obstetricians, oncologists, ophthalmologists, paediatricians and radiologists. Much of the care is provided in a multidisciplinary team setting, with patients attending joint clinics.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential
* MRCP or equivalent (E).
* CCT in General Medicine / Diabetes / Endocrinology (E) (or within 6 months)
