The Skye Centre offers a high quality service that is individually focused and consists of a range of therapeutic, recreational, social, vocational, educational and physical health services for patients. You will collaborate with senior nursing staff, Rehabilitation Instructors, and HCSWs as part of the Skye Centre team. The role involves working independently, in partnership with patients and various clinical teams, to develop, maintain, and deliver high-quality care. This will be achieved through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care processes while ensuring a safe environment
Two exciting opportunities are available for first level Registered Nurses (Mental Health or Learning Disability) to join our dynamic and innovative nursing team within the Skye Centre here at the State Hospital. The positions will be primarily based within either the Atrium or Craft & Design service with the flexibility to work in other activity areas as and when needed., We would welcome applicants who have obtained professional/clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree level. Applicants must be registered on the NMC single professional register in respect of Mental Health Nursing and/or Learning Disability Nursing.
AfC Band 5 plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,679,10 per annum and a High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance of £4,030.01 per annum
Hours - 37 per week (Mon - Thurs 0830-1700 and Fri 0830- 1530)
