CG FX - This role will be working on stylised children's television. Alongside the below profile, Wild Child Animation is looking for senior artists and leads who have strong communication skills who are also willing to share knowledge and skills with our developing FX department. Role Profile Work closely with Production, Head of Realtime and Department Supervisors to develop stylised FX to be implemented into Unreal Engine R&D technical solutions to FX challenges using Houdini and Unreal Engine Collaborate with the Assets and Lighting department to develop texture/shading/lighting set up to support in achieving a final required look Experience with Liquid fx Experience with volumetric fx (smoke, dust) Experience working with Creative Directors and clients to meet creative and artistic brief within the scope of the production Develop and feedback on the work of junior and mid talent, sharing skills and experience across the department Software Experience/Skills Houdini, Blender and Unreal Engine (advantageous) Python (C++ advantageous) UE Blueprint and/or Niagara Particle system (advantageous) General Over and above the required experience, Wild Child Animation is looking for senior artists and leads who have strong communication skills who are also willing to share knowledge and skills.
