Join our international team as a Key Account Manager Healthcare – Global Account Program at Kuehne+Nagel. In this strategic role, you will drive long-term partnerships with our most important global customers in the Healthcare & Pharma vertical. As a commercial lead within our Global Key Account Program, you will ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded through innovative, compliant, and high-performing supply chain solutions—spanning Air, Sea, Road, and Contract Logistics services. With your global mindset, industry knowledge, and collaborative approach, you will shape strategic initiatives that deliver measurable value, strengthen customer loyalty, and support our continued growth in one of the most critical and regulated sectors of logistics.
Your Role
As Key Account Manager Healthcare, you will serve as the main commercial point of contact for a portfolio of assigned global healthcare clients. You will manage the commercial relationship across all Kuehne+Nagel business units, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop customized logistics solutions that meet strict industry requirements. Your role involves balancing strategic vision with operational execution—turning customer needs into tangible business opportunities.
Your Responsibilities
* Manages assigned global healthcare accounts by meeting revenue, growth, and service targets, aligned with KN’s strategy.
* Understands the unique regulatory and operational challenges of the healthcare industry and applies this to customer strategy.
* Develops and maintains strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, navigating complex international structures.
* Negotiates global and regional agreements in alignment with business units, ensuring compliance and transparency.
* Collaborates with operational and functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of customer solutions.
* Continuously monitors performance indicators (e.g., pipeline development, RFP success, customer satisfaction, financial KPIs).
* Drives customer account planning processes, documenting strategic initiatives and aligning internal resources accordingly.
* Leads regular business reviews, fostering continuous improvement and long-term collaboration.
Your Skills and Experiences
* University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in global key account management in the Healthcare & Pharma vertical
* Strong logistics background (Air, Sea, Road, Contract Logistics) with a deep understanding of healthcare supply chains
* Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-country customer environments
* Strategic thinker with excellent consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus
* Based in Europe (UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, or France)
* Willingness to travel globally as part of customer engagement and internal collaboration
