Responsibilities
Assess individuals' and families' housing needs and circumstances.
Provide detailed advice on housing options and support services available.
Collaborate with local housing authorities, NGOs, and other relevant organizations.
Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of local housing policies and programs.
Assist clients in completing housing applications and necessary documentation.
Conduct outreach to raise awareness about housing resources available in the community.
Facilitate workshops and informational sessions about housing rights and options.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, housing management, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in housing assistance, social services, or customer service roles.
Strong knowledge of local housing policies and laws.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Empathy and active listening skills to support clients effectively.
Ability to manage a caseload and ensure timely follow-up with clients.
Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Annum: £21.68
Location: Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
