A leading maintenance contractor is seeking a motivated General Operative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based near Honiton and should be willing to travel within Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ordering Materials: Coordinate and manage orders for project supplies.
Receiving Deliveries: Check and process all incoming deliveries accurately.
Preparing Materials: Pick and prepare materials for scheduled jobs.
Site Deliveries: Transport materials to various work sites across the region.
Waste Management: Collect and safely dispose of waste from different sites.
Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised, and safe.
Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently. Requirements:
Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Valid Driving License: A clean driving license is essential for this position.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
