The Area Housing Manager will assist the Communities Director in the delivery of a professional customer-focused housing management service that meets the needs of the business. The post holder will be required to work flexibly and collaboratively with relevant internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the management and development of services, which comply with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Location: This post covers Radius stock in the North West Area, Ballymena, and North Belfast. The post holder will be required to travel to cover the needs of the post as and when required. Radius has two offices, one in the North West and one in Ballymena; the post holder can choose either as their base but would be required to have a presence in the North West office at least two days a week.
This role has been assessed as suitable for hybrid/smart working.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Level six qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate diploma) or above plus 3 years relevant management experience (gained in the last 5 years).
2. OR
3. At least 5 years’ relevant experience (gained in the last 7) of the full range of housing management services.
4. Experience of and a commitment to delivering customer services, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
5. Highly developed communication skills with experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders and the ability to negotiate and influence others.
6. Effective leadership skills and experience of managing teams and developing initiatives to develop and motivate employees.
7. Ability to construct and manage budgets with a focus on managing performance to achieve organisational targets.
8. A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.*
