This is a role for a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare's Brentwood Arches Care Home in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, overseeing staff, and ensuring all nursing tasks are completed. Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare's Brentwood Arches Care Home, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. Your focus will be on ensuring high standards of care for the residents, including undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, supervising staff, and providing high-quality care through accurate assessment and planning.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asa Registered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
1. Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
2. Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.
3. Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
4. Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

5. Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
6. Demonstrate a minimum 2years experienceand up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
7. Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
8. Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
