Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for an Electrician – Solar Installer to join our Renewables team.
What you’ll achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is to carry out solar thermal and solar photovoltaic (PV) and EV servicing and installations, assisting in the design and installation of new solar installations and air heat pumps. On occasion, the role will involve leading and supervising a team of multi-skilled trades and/or contractors on projects, with support from the Electrical Nominated Technical Lead and Project Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
* To assist in the design of new solar installations and air heat pumps.
* To carry out solar thermal and solar photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle charging points (EV) servicing and installations.
* To be able to install all projects in full accordance with the appropriate regulatory requirements (MCS, NICEIC).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a large multi-skilled trades team, and the wider Renewables Team, drawing on skills from a wider network to deliver an outstanding service with a strong customer focus.
What you’ll bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
* Excellent electrical skills demonstrated through City & Guilds 2357 (which replaces 2360 & 2391 or 2394/2395) or equivalent.
* Experience with solar, battery and installation processes, including sound knowledge of the design and maintenance of different technologies.
* Practical, problem-solving approach balancing quality and customer satisfaction whilst ensuring profitability.
* A full, clean driving licence.
DBS clearance will be required for this role.
