WING SYSTEM MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
A new contract opportunity is available in Broughton to work within the Airframe team and support Product and Process improvements for Major Mods and New Product Development activities.
* On-site in Broughton
* Initial contract until January 2026
* £36 per hour via Umbrella
* One-stage interview
* Overtime at a premium rate
* BPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)
Responsibilities of the Wing System Manufacturing Engineer:
In this role, you will join the Wing Industrialisation department and work within the Airframe team, collaborating with internal stakeholders from Central and Plant Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Operations, and Quality to support Product and Process improvement. Some of the other responsibilities include:
* Supporting and influencing Single Aisle & Wide Body Major Modifications through the Co-design Milestone Gate process.
* Preparing for and participating in project reviews and workshops.
* Supporting Design reviews including DSR, IDR, PDR & CDRs.
Necessary Qualifications:
* Understanding of fuel systems.
* Experience with fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrics.
* Experience in product assembly industrial systems.
* Wing Airframe System knowledge.
* Interrogating drawings and technical documentation.
* CATIA V5 experience (desirable).
* SAP APD / ARP - ME Planning & Config Fundamentals (desirable).
