Achievement Tutor (Visual Arts)
The Manchester College is seeking an Achievement Tutor (Visual Arts) to join our Creative Industries Department at our City Campus on a permanent, part-time (17.5 hours per week) basis.
Responsibilities:
As directed by the Head of Department, you will manage allocated students/groups and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme. This includes tracking and supporting students' overall academic, pastoral, social, and behavioral progress to ensure outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
* Certificate of education or PGCE.
* Current and valid industry specialism.
* Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
* English and maths minimum level 2 grade C or grade 4 and above.
* Experience of working within the Visual Arts sector.
Salary and Benefits:
Successful candidates will be offered a salary of between Pro Rata £12,904.50 - £21,698.50 (FTE £25,809 - £43,397) per annum, depending on your level of experience. Our colleagues also receive:
