Academics are currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and short/long term roles within our partnership secondary schools. Working across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding areas can be diversified, meaning that we work with an assortment of secondary schools and that we do have different requirements to suit.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:
* Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
* Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
* Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.
* Working with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.
* Committed to support both the teacher and the students to succeed.
For this role, applicants who apply must have:
* Confident communication skills and to be a excellent motivator in the classroom (1-2-1 or small group support).
* Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to support learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
