About the role
The role is part of Toshiba Carrier and its main aim is to identify new business opportunities and grow sales in conjunction with our direct and distribution Sales Teams. Your responsibility will be to help us grow through: quoting and selling Toshiba Carrier's products (DX and VRF products), maximizing Market Share and increasing sales revenue and presence within the allocated sales region.
As a Specification Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Effective Management of nominated & geographical mechanical consultants
2. Targeting and identifying new/potential customers (M&E, Consultants)
3. Promoting and offering product and project design support
4. Achieving sales targets and developing new business
5. Offer guidance and assistance on the correct use and application of our products
6. Offering industry knowledge and guidance on legislation to ensure future protection
7. Promoting all Carrier & Toshiba USP’s
8. Preparing a weekly/monthly update report charting customer progress and highlight new business to your line Manager
9. Ensuring regular customer contact
10. Securing orders and developing enquiries
11. Satisfying customer requirements
12. Collecting and reporting industry knowledge and competitor analysis
What we are looking for:
1. Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems
2. Strong sales background in HVAC specifically VRF market dealing with consultants, M&E and AC contractors
3. Strong Client Relationships
4. Competitor knowledge
5. UK Driving Licence
6. IT Literate with MS Office skills
7. Time management and organisational skills
