Delivering safe and effective maintenance and engineering services across Anglian Water, we are Central Services, the newly formed team with the clear objective to provide a professional, collaborative, and cost-effective service to our colleagues across the business and supporting them in delivery of our business plan objectives.
We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our team. This role will lead and oversee the performance of assigned projects within the Central Services scope, with an initial focus on Sludge Treatment Centre (STC) Recommissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prioritising the safe and efficient delivery of all allocated projects, ensuring industry-leading safety performance.
2. Collaborating closely with the wider Central Services team, Commercial Operations, and other business units to deliver consistent, effective, and efficient commercial assurance.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Internal Audit.
4. Lead the project team in working to meet two key principles: ensure safe, legal, and compliant standards of operation and re-commission the 10 STCs.
5. Conduct site surveys, reviews of current information and drawings, collaborative planning sessions, and various safety checks and commissioning activities.

1. Lead a safety culture to ensure all project work is fully compliant with our obligations, policies and procedures.
2. Drive the successful delivery of projects by using robust project planning, execution, and monitoring processes.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring transparent communication of project progress.
5. Lead in the identification and mitigation of financial risks.
6. Instil a culture of quality and accountability, ensuring project deliverables meet or exceed defined quality standards.

Skills and Experience Required:
1. Construction Project Management experience is essential
2. Health and safety management qualified to a minimum of IOSH level
3. Good Knowledge of H&S & CDM regulations
4. APMP Qualification or equivalent
5. Chartered member of a professional body or working towards this
6. In depth and broad expertise in water recycling processes, including sludge treatment
7. Strong track record of delivery on time
8. Good knowledge of the water recycling regulatory environment
9. Demonstrable understanding of process safety principles
10. Knowledge of NEC Option A, C, & E contracts.
11. Experience of delivering projects to budget
12. Experience of working within a commercial framework
