Key Account Manager - Hereford
Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of products in their sector. The company has been, and continues to be, a successful, profitable business where people want to work utilizing good working practices. The Key Account Manager will develop new business, identifying and developing new opportunities whilst representing the company brand within the market. A good knowledge of retail and how large retail customers operate will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage targeted key account customers
2. Target distributors and dealers within chosen markets
3. Target mass retail and DIY multiples
4. Represent the business, products, and services at trade events
5. Be a product expert and demonstrate the product portfolio
6. Build strong customer relationships
7. Report on sales, customer, and market performance
Requirements:
1. Experience of Managing Key Accounts
2. Experience of developing new business
3. Experience and knowledge of Mass retail
4. An understanding of how large retail customers operate
5. Able to build strong relationships and communicate at all levels
6. Accurate recording of activity onto the CRM system
7. Experience of carrying out market research and reporting on trends/competitor activity
Salary: Up to £39,000 DOE + Commission + Company Car
