We are delighted to be supporting a well-known business based in Newmarket as they seek to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role has become available due to a departure within the team, and within the role, you will report into the Financial Controller. This role will be a fully office based position. As the incoming Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the accounts department and be tasked with the following responsibilities, including but not limited to: - Processing sales invoices - Reconciling aged debtors - Processing purchase invoices - Expense posting and processing - Bank reconciliations - Additional duties as per the full job description As the successful candidate for this role, you will have previous experience working in a similar level accountancy role, with good knowledge of accounting principles. Knowledge of Sage 200 or Xero would also be considered advantageous.
