Buyer – Wakefield - £35,000 - £40,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with an established and growing business based in Wakefield who are looking for a Buyer to join their team.As a Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for multiple global projects, ensuring the best value to support successful project completion. Benefits: • Flexible hybrid working• Flexible working hours• 30 days holiday (inclusive of BH)• Free onsite parking• Pension Buyer Duties: • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Project Manager regarding purchasing for ongoing projects• Negotiate with suppliers ensuring best possible costs• Deciding what goods, services and equipment are needed and predicting stock levels• Researching and identifying new products and suppliers• Maintaining supplier database• Reviewing invoices with Accounts department• Ensuring suppliers deliver on time• Raising and recording supplier non-conformance & improvement notices• Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services Hours: Full time Monday – Friday Required skills & experience: • Previous experience within a procurement role• Strong negotiation experience• Work autonomously on own initiative and also well as part of a team• Be able to work to deadlines If you would like to discuss this Buyer role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now
