Job Summary:
To provide safe and effective Occupational Therapy assessments in a community setting at a senior grade. Responsibilities include:
1. Assessing for aids and adaptations in accordance with customer needs and the Care Act.
2. Liaising and referring with other professionals and services.
3. Providing assessment and advice for moving & handling, including the use of assistive devices and single-handed care equipment.
4. Producing manual handling plans.
5. Completing high-quality reports.
Travel expenses are available for business mileage.
Requirements:
1. BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
2. Current HCPC registration
3. Significant experience of working as an Occupational Therapist
4. Current DBS
5. Driving licence and use of a car for business purposes
