In a key line role, you will assume responsibility for the cheese cutting, slicing and packing lines to deliver best in class standards and performance in efficiency, output, quality and safety to satisfy and exceed customer requirements.
Monday to Friday shift pattern that will rotate on a weekly basis; Week 1: 6:00am-2:00pm / Week 2: 2:00pm-10:00pm.
Key responsibilities
* Assisting with overseeing all aspects of the cheese process to maximise output and achieve optimal target performance
* Operating machinery and completing mandatory quality checks with associated paperwork
* Responsible for the delivery of the area KPI’s, project support work and achieving departmental PIP targets
* Assist with managing the team of operatives to ensure good operational performance, and you will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling the waste of materials
* Working with engineering function to reduce downtime and optimise efficiency
About You:
* You will have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant food manufacturing experience.
* Experience of leading and managing a team.
* You will have a successful track record of developing a lean culture and delivering process improvements.
* You will have a strong technical skill set and have a track record of delivery against quality / food safety requirements.
* You will have strong communication skills and be able to clearly demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* H&S responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
