About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Driver who is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of telecom equipment, tools, and materials between warehouses, project sites, and customer locations. The role involves both driving and warehouse duties, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Transport & Delivery Operate company vans or HGVs (if applicable) to transport telecom materials Deliver equipment to engineers, construction sites, and telecom facilities Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage Plan Routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines Warehouse Operations Assist in receiving, storing and organising telecom equipment Maintain accurate stock records and conduct inventory checks Assist in packing and dispatching orders Compliance and Safety Adhere to UK transport regulations (e.g., DVLA, tachograph rules if applicable) Follow warehouse health and safety guidelines(e.g., manual handling, PPE use) Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues Teamwork & Customer Service Liaise with warehouse teams, telecoms engineers, and project managers Provide excellent service when delivering to clients or telecom instillation site Your areas of Knowledge of Expertise Full UK Driving License (Category B for Vans, Category C/C1 for HGV if required) Forklift Licence (desirable) Previous experience in warehouse and/or delivery driving roles Knowledge of telecoms equipment and materials (desirable) Good organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift and move heavy items Understanding of Health and Safety regulations in warehousing and transport Working Conditions Based in Telecoms warehouse in Silverstone, with travel required to sites across the UK May require early starts, long-distance driving and occasional overnight stays Combination of warehouse work and driving duties We want everyone at MLL to 'Bring their best self to work' and we do this by asking you to live our value behaviours.
