Long-Term Teachers are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team, working with primary-aged students who may face challenges in mainstream education. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide one-to-one mentoring and deliver tailored learning programs that combine classroom-based activities with engaging off-site experiences, helping students build resilience, confidence and essential life skills. Your key responsibilities: Provide personalised support to students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis Collaborate with a dedicated team to create an inclusive and nurturing environment Assist in the delivery of customised learning programmes, combining thematic classroom learning with practical, experiential activities What we’re looking for: A genuine passion for supporting children and young people, particularly in SEN settings Experience working with individuals with additional needs, whether children or adults Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and working within small groups or on a one-to-one basis A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential (you will be required to transport students off-site) A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one) Why join us?
