An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our University’s unique External Partnerships team as a Placement Assistant.
The team forms part of the Professional Services provision at the University and provides an integrated and high-quality suite of professional services advising, guiding, and supporting the strategic priorities of the Faculty and the wider academic mission of the University.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, you will have demonstrable administration experience and be proficient in the use of office technology including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy.
You will have a knowledge and understanding of SITS or a similar student records system; however, specific training relevant to this post will be provided. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail whilst working under pressure, as this is vital within this role, alongside having excellent organisational skills.
You will be required to work within a regulatory framework to meet internal and external audit requirements in respect of placement administration and the PRSB affiliation this attracts. You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills to both internal and external clients, particularly our students, placement partners, and Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies.
You will be able to demonstrate a proactive and professional approach and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be committed to equality and diversity and also have an understanding of data protection and freedom of information legislation.
