Person Specification
Knowledge, Skills, and Training
Essential criteria:
* Registered practitioner (MH nurse, OT, or social worker) with a degree/diploma, supplemented by post-registration specialist training and/or short courses, or demonstrable extensive experience in the relevant specialty.
* Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
* Evidence of recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio.
Desirable criteria:
* Knowledge and understanding of Trust Strategy relevant to the role.
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria:
* Experience of specialist working.
* Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
* Experience of managing change.
* Knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions in the area of specialism.
Desirable criteria:
* Recent experience in a similar role.
* Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level.
Managerial/Supervisory Experience
Essential criteria:
* Experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
Desirable criteria:
* Experience in devising and delivering training.
Information Technology/Resources
Essential criteria:
* Experience using electronic patient/service user record systems.
* Ability to analyze data and produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Additional Requirements
Essential criteria:
* Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.
* Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role effectively.
