Their expert teams specialize in power network build solutions, including design, civil engineering, cabling, and splicing, ensuring excellence in every aspect of power network construction. Role Summary: As a Wayleave Officer, you will play a vital role in facilitating the installation of power infrastructure by securing wayleave permissions on private land and properties. You will work closely with the Wayleave Supervisor and Manager, collaborating with internal teams to ensure the efficient rollout of our network. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, negotiating agreements, and liaising with stakeholders to navigate land ownership and consent processes. Key Responsibilities: Wayleave Acquisition Work with the Wayleave Manager to obtain permissions for installing power infrastructure on public and private properties. Conduct desktop audits of pre-build areas to identify private land and determine necessary wayleave requirements. Utilize land searches to identify property ownership and secure wayleaves, easements, and landlord consents. Obtain wayleaves onsite from landowners and remotely as required. Liaise with the council to obtain Wayleave permisions Negotiation & Coordination Coordinate with Planning, Build, and Installations teams to ensure all necessary planning consents, wayleaves, and listed building consents are obtained. Liaise with public bodies, including Local Councils, Housing Associations, and relevant government agencies, to facilitate effective network rollout. ave department to ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
