About the role:
Our team shape projects that connect communities and impact daily life for millions. Join our BBK team as a Project Cost Manager on the Sellafield project and build new futures!
What you'll be doing
1. Manage the project audit requirements as part of the NEC Option E contracts.
2. Consult with the customer audit team, to ensure we have achievable and suitable timetables in place to maintain up to date audit reporting.
3. Continually review processes to ensure we have a best practice and accurate cost/data capture across the projects.
4. Work closely with various departments within BB, to ensure data capture for cost back-up can be achieved as efficiently as possible.
5. Responsible along with the project QS, to ensure that costs are being accurately allocated to projects and task structures.
6. Manage labour/staff rates; preparing annual forecast rates and calculate actual annual rates to walkthrough with PPP audit team.
7. Assist Commercial Manager and Finance Manager during CVR approval period.
8. Support the Commercial QS, to ensure operational and financial targets are achieved.
9. Responsible for daily management of assistants to aid with the audit process.
Who we're looking for
The following skills and experience are required:
1. Minimum qualification requirement AAT.
2. Strong excel and word skills. Good communication skills.
3. Strong knowledge of Finance ERP systems (Oracle R12 preferable).
4. Experience in operating at a similar level as part of a large project team.
5. Team management and development experience.
6. Knowledge of NEC contracts preferable.
