Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking
● Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to menu specifications and recipes.
● Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all food items.
● Assist with daily prep work
2. Kitchen Station Management
● Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organised workstation.
● Ensure all ingredients and tools are properly prepped and available before service.
● Communicate with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service flow.
3. Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance
● Follow HACCP and food safety regulations, including proper storage and labelling.
● Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas.
● Prevent cross-contamination and allergen exposure.
● Support HC and Kitchen supervisor with daily Due diligence and record keeping on Alert65
4. Supporting the Kitchen Team
● Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing food deliveries.
● Work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
● Be flexible in helping with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning.
5. Cleaning & Equipment Maintenance
● Maintain a clean workstation, including surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
● Assist with end-of-day cleaning, dishwashing, and waste disposal.
● Report any damaged or faulty kitchen equipment to management
