Semi Senior Accountant Are you an experienced and proactive AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified accountant looking for the next steps in your career to becoming qualified? Dains Accountants are recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant to join our Rugby Accounts team to deliver high quality general accounting services to our clients. You will play a pivotal part in the team by preparing accounts for unincorporated and incorporated businesses, completing VAT returns and other general accounting tasks, alongside building long lasting client relationships, Why Dains? Key Responsibilities as Semi Senior Accountant: You will be working closely with other members of the team to provide sufficient accounting services to a variety of clients. You will be preparing accounts for unincorporated/incorporated businesses. You will be analysing account figures to spot trends and variances and identify any issues to the senior team. You will have high involvement in processing year end accounts and tax compliance queries. You will be involved in the preparation of management accounts. You will be processing VAT returns to a high standard. Forming client relationships across a range of businesses and sectors. You will be instrumental in mentoring and supporting trainee and junior team members. Personal Attributes: You should have obtained your AAT qualification and be on the journey towards your ACA/ACCA qualification. You should have strong knowledge of main accounting systems in the marketplace (eg; Sage, ZERO, Quickbooks etc). You should have experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounts preparation. You will be a confident and articulate communicator and be comfortable with managing a varied workload and professional study time. Demonstrate a hands on, and proactive work ethic and supportive team approach.
